Communicable diseases are a fact of life in school settings. Our school district follows best practices and recommendations regarding the prevention of these diseases from the Whatcom County Health and Community Services, the Washington State Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). During instances when specific diseases are present or likely to be present, extra precautions may be implemented. Updates regarding those instances can be accessed on this page.
