Student lead conferences will be happening November 15, 16, 19, and 20 from 1 - 3:20 pm and on November 15 from 5 - 8 pm.
Please schedule your conference on line using YOUR Family Access account. The following info will assist you with scheduling but please keep in mind the following items:
You MUST log in as THE PARENT (not as the student). IF you need your Family Access login information call the school office.
Select the "conferences" tab (should be on the left side of the screen when you log in as YOU) then proceed scheduling your conference (see note next bullet points).
6th grade students with Zaccheo/Johnson or Schweinsberg/Creager will schedule through the LA/SS teacher - the Math/Science teacher will be at the conference.
6th grade students with Minckler/Higgins/Schutt will schedule through their FIRST period teacher.
ALL 7th grade students are scheduled through their FIRST period teacher.
ALL 8th grade students are scheduled through their FIRST period teacher.
NOTE: For the FIRST period teacher conferences, other teachers will NOT be at that conference (unless you were called already). IF you want to see other teachers you can "stop by" the day of to sign up on any open spots.

Blaine Middle School Parents: As a reminder, we have invited Rachel’s Challenge into our school culture again this year. Parents please join us at 10:50 am today along side our 6th graders for the presentation designed to help build empathy in each student. At 9:15 am, our 7th and 8th graders participate in the Legacy program. So far it is awesome!
Hello BMS Families-
This Friday is our annual Monster Mash dance from 6:30-8:30 in the BMS cafeteria. Tickets are on sale during lunch for $5. Tickets are also available at the door for $5. Kids are encouraged to dress up, no masks or weapons, please.
We've been teaching the students the Thriller dance all week during lunch for a modified flash mob performance at the dance. Tutorials can be found online if your student wants some extra practice!

On November 8, at 9 am in our PAC, Blaine Middle School students will be honoring our Veterans. If your student has a relative or family friend that was in the military or is currently in the military, we would like to honor them. More information to come through the classrooms.
Next Tuesday, October 30, we will be having the Rachel's Challenge assembly. Rachel’s Challenge exists to equip and inspire individuals to replace acts of violence, bullying, and negativity with acts of respect, kindness, and compassion. Assembly times on the BMS Newsfeed

The orders from the BMS fundraiser will be distributed tomorrow, October 19, 2018. Students will be given their orders between 1:45 - 2:45pm. If parents would like to come to the school to pick up an order this can be done between 1:45 and 3:30pm. All orders need to be reviewed by the parent and student for accuracy as soon as possible. 7th and 8th grade girls fastpitch games that were cancelled today (10/8/18), have been rescheduled for Thursday, October 11th, 2018, at Pipeline fields.
10/8/18: Today’s 7th and 8th grade girls fastpitch games, vs. Lynden Christian @ Pipeline fields, are cancelled. Practice indoors. Games will be rescheduled TBD.
