2025-2026 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!
NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT CHECKLIST
In order to complete your registration, you will need the following items available:
Name & age verification (birth certificate or passport)
Address verification (recent utility bill or current rental/lease agreement showing the parent/guardian’s name and address)
Medically verified immunization records or a complete exemption form (If you have questions regarding immunizations, please contact our school nurse at jgreene@blainesd.org or 360-332-1300 as soon as possible) Immunizations records are not required to register, however, they must be provided before your student’s first day of school.
Any court documents, if applicable (parenting plans, restraining orders/protection orders etc.)
New families please use the New Student Online Enrollment Form to begin registration.
If you already have a student attending and wish to enroll a sibling or other student in your household, simply log into your Family Access account and click on New Student Online Enrollment from your Home page.
*If you are unable to upload any of the required documents, you may email them to bsdsregistrar@blainesd.org.
After the New Student Online Enrollment is submitted a confirmation will display on your screen that the registration has been submitted. Our registrar will contact you if we have any questions or need additional information/documentation.
All children who are 5 by September 1, 2025 are eligible to enroll.
Need to obtain your student's birth certificate??
Washington State records: please contact Whatcom County Health Department. All other states: contact the vital records dept in the state your student was born in.
Kindergarten immunization questions??
Immunizations protect the health of your child, and the health of others. State law requires that children entering Kindergarten must have certain immunizations. See Kindergarten entry details HERE.
Don’t have access to a computer?
Please contact the district registrar at 360-332-0396 to make special arrangements.
Kindergarten age??
All children who are 5 by September 1, 2025 are eligible to enroll.
For kindergarteners registering for the 2025-2026 school year, registrations (with all required documents provided) will be approved late spring. All enrollment documents need to be provided by August 18 in order for students to start on the first day of kindergarten. Please contact the registrar at bsdregistrar@blainesd.org or phone 360-332-0396 if you will need additional time.
