MATH CHAMPIONSHIPS
STATE MATH CHAMPS EVENT CANCELLED
MARCH 11, 2020
In light of the increasing risk factors related to the Coronavirus and the Current Recommendations for Whatcom County Residents, the Washington State Math Champs scheduled for March 28, 2020, is cancelled. Blaine School District is in the process of returning payments and/or refunding fees. If you have questions, concerns, or your math team is interested in purchasing the 2020 Washington State Math Champs t-shirts, please contact Shawna Rouse at srouse@blainesd.org. I am also available to respond to questions or concerns at dbenson@blainesd.org.
Join us next year for the 2020 – 2021, Washington State Math Champs scheduled for March 27, 2021.

MESSAGE REGARDING STATE MATH CHAMPS

RE: March 28, 2020 - Washington State Math Champs
In light of the increasing risk factors occurring in our state and the numerous questions that we have received from participating State Math Champs teams, Blaine School District is weighing the impacts of postponing or cancelling the 2020 Washington State Math Champs event scheduled for March 28, 2020. We hope to make a decision by Wednesday, March 11, and will update teams via email and the Blaine School District Website. Thank you for your interest and patience while we consult our district and state partners as we endeavor to make the best decisions regarding the health and safety of all of our students and families across Washington State.

NORTHWEST MATH CHAMPIONSHIP (DISCONTINUED)
We are sad to announce that the NW Mathematics Championship has come to an end. We appreciate all of the coaches, students and volunteers that have helped put on this event for the many years, but due to time constraints, budget and dwindling participation, we must bring it to an end. Thank you for your support over the years.
